This is for fursuit solo or group performances and will have space for 16 entries. Be sure to have an audition video ready for when you sign up. This can be from a past performance or just any video that best shows your and/or your partner's dancing abilities.
We're aiming to provide enough time to have 16 acts perform this year. Your act can be solo or contain as many performers as you like.
Maximum performance time is 2min 30sec (We recommend 2min for a suitable performance length) and you are allowed +30sec for each additional member if you choose. So if you are a group of 3, your maximum allowed time is 3min 30sec.
Due to the high interest in performing in this event, you must submit an audition video with your application. This will be judged by a small panel to determine if you make it through the audition rounds. If you don't make it through, we will give you feedback for your audition upon your request as we do want to encourage you all to keep practicing and wanting to perform. For groups, each of the participants needs to submit a video alternatively a video of all of you dancing together.
The competition is for fursuit performers only, you must compete in at least partial fursuit and for competition sake your score is slightly influenced by the difficulty of performing in your fursuit. If you have a head, handpaws and sneakers you will score low, if your fursuit is heavy, digitigrade or has other restrictive elements you will score higher.
PoA returns with an exciting 2vs2 format! Grab a partner and swish your tails to a random selection of songs from our playlist here: playlist
Before you can sign up, you must have a partner, we will not be randomly pairing unpaired contestants unless there aren't enough signups.

As with last year, we want to give more people the opportunity to perform in at least one of the 2 dance events, this means that if you are successful with making it into the dance competition, if you also apply for PoA then your chances of getting in will decrease as you will first have to flip a coin before even being entered into the lottery, though this method at least allows your partner to look for a new partner.
Breakdown -> If you and your partner apply for PoA and your partner successfully enters the Dance Competition, they will need to flip a coin. If successful, both you and your partner will enter the lottery to perform in PoA. If unsuccessful, you will need to find a new partner to enter the lottery with.
If you and your partner are in the dance comp, you each flip your own coins.
There are no particular restrictions on dress code, you are welcome to perform in Fursuit, Costume or any Clothing of your choice. Please just keep it within the guidelines of convention space dress code (i.e. if Pup Hoods are still banned, no pup hoods are allowed in PoA.)
